Angela Carter, the Assistant Executive Director of A Better LA, talks about how the it took a group effort to turn the community park into a place families and children can actually use. The goal of A Better LA is to improve the quality of life in inner cities by reducing violence, promoting self-empowerment, and giving individuals the tools they need to make significant changes in their lives.
