Last weekend we were very honored to be involved with the events surrounding the LA Marathon. This was a historic event because the marathon created the new route from Dodgers Stadium to the Santa Monica Pier. Before the actual marathon on Sunday, A Better LA participated in the LA Marathon Expo at Dodger Stadium where we had an information booth and sold t-shirts. We were located next to Win Forever – the official philosophy of the LA Marathon. A Better LA and Win Forever founder Pete Carroll also hosted a dinner the night before the race in Santa Monica where he shared his Win Forever philosophy and how it pertains to long distance running as well as in life. Many runners and SC fans were excited to see Carroll again back in LA. Thank you to everyone who came throughout the weekend and congratulations to the LA Marathon on an amazing event!
